COURSE OVERVIEW

This course is designed for children aged 3 and above, combining basic Taekwondo techniques with physical fitness training. It helps kids build confidence, discipline, and physical strength. The course is taught by Master Daniel Chan (4th Dan Black Belt from Kukkiwon) from Eastern Dragon Taekwondo Federation Hong Kong, and is well-loved by students and parents alike.

Each term is typically 8 to 9 weeks long, with classes held once a week. The exact number of classes may vary depending on holidays or other scheduling factors.

Course Details

Number of Classes: 8 to 9 classes per term
Class Duration: 1 hour per class
Class Schedule: Wednesday, 16:30 - 17:30
Tuition Fee: $190 OR 4 credits per class
Trial Class: $150 / 4 credits
Class Size: Minimum 7 students, Maximum 15 students
Age Group: For children aged 3 and above
Mid-term Enrollment: Students can join mid-term and pay for the remaining classes in that term. Each term consists of 8 to 9 sessions depending on the schedule.
Zenus Uniform Fee: New students are required to purchase the Zenus Uniform for $400. This uniform is necessary for class participation and progression.

Certifications

Advancement Test: Every 4 to 6 months, students will have the opportunity to take an Advancement Test to assess their progress in Taekwondo.
Testing Criteria: The advancement test will evaluate students on their kick techniques, footwork, and overall physical ability. The results will determine their readiness to move to the next level.
Advancement Certificate: Students who successfully pass the advancement test will receive an Advancement Certificate issued by the Eastern Dragon Taekwondo Federation Hong Kong.
Continual Learning: Students will be encouraged to continue progressing, mastering new techniques, and enhancing their skills with each term.

Master Daniel Chan

Coach Daniel is a dedicated Taekwondo instructor with over 9 years of experience and a 4th Dan Black Belt from Kukkiwon. As head coach of Eastern Dragon Taekwondo Federation Hong Kong, he fosters discipline, confidence, and perseverance in his students.

Daniel’s teaching style emphasises strong fundamentals, physical fitness, and mental resilience, tailored to each student’s needs. He creates a supportive environment where students of all ages and skill levels are empowered to reach their full potential in their Taekwondo journey.

REMARKS

Important Terms:

Refund Policy: No refunds after enrollment, except for medical reasons with a doctor’s certificate.
Trial Class: Trial class fee will be deducted if a full term is enrolled.
Makeup Classes: Only two makeup classes per term is allowed. Makeup classes must be taken in the next term and arranged in advance with the instructor.
Leave of Absence:
For sick leave, parents must inform us at least 12 hours in advance. Up to 2 makeup classes will be offered in the next term, but no further makeup classes will be provided if they are missed.
For travel leave, parents must inform us one term in advance.
Payment for Absences: For travel leave, parents will only be charged for the classes the child attends, provided the appropriate notice is given.
